Alicia Calton, is a twenty three old photographer, who recently graduated in December of 2011 with her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree, focusing in photography. Growing up in a small town in rural South Eastern, Kentucky, Alicia was raised by her hardworking, loving Mother. With many struggles along the way, this truly gave her an ambitious and progressive attitude for life, as well as her personal vision. She ultimately found the way to appreciate the beauty that lies within the world, and more importantly the daring strength and courage that women hold close to their hearts.
She began photography by attending local band shows, photographing live bands, at the mere age of nineteen. Gradually leading her to taking images of her friends, and eventually to shooting models for fashion and conceptual work.
Within the past four years, Alicia C. has had the chance to travel across the United States to work with extrememly talented makeup artists, hairstylists, wardrobe and fashion designers, in addition to models. With this being said, she has had the opportunity to work with individuals from notable reality televison series including America's Next Top Model, Make Me a Supermodel, as well as Project Runway.
Her style is quite diverse; typically she enjoys working with vintage tones or victorian themes for modeling and fashion portfolios. However, Alicia does provide traditional photography for clients who are interested in conventional imagery, including weddings, engagement sessions, senior portraits, and more .
